The young boy stood waiting for his punishment, face down in shame.
“I don’t care if you win or lose when you play with your friends. I just want you to have fun. Promise me that next time you won’t lose your temper. You can be worse than your father when it comes to rules, I swear.”
With the fond look he received from his Papa he knew punishment had been averted this time.
