It had been too long since Severus had been free to choose anything in his life. Now in this post-war world, no longer bound to two strong wizards pulling him in two different directions he could do whatever his heart desired.
When Harry arrived on his doorstep, he thought nothing of it. It was not until later when Harry had spent the night that he realized that the young man had wormed his way into his heart all the way into his soul.
All he knew about his future plans was that he wanted Harry to be in them, always.
