New fanfic recommendations!
Here are three new fanfic recs, which have been added to the recs pages. Again, please heed the ratings and warnings: G and PG are stories for all ages, PG-13 are stories for teens and older, and stories rated R or NC-17 are FOR ADULTS ONLY. Thank you.
Battlestar Galactica recs (x2)
- Chasing the Dragon, by sci_fi_shipper. Rated NC-17 (Kara/Lee).
Author's summary: Having a life together was not as easy as they had hoped. Bea: A fic with a highly interesting plotline which doesn't shortchange the characters AND manages to have Lee and Kara be happy together. (While staying believable.) NB: More fic by this author can be found here.
- Insanity Underrated, by amidala_thrace. Rated NC-17 (Kara/Lee).
"You are beyond insane!" - Lee Adama to Kara Thrace, Miniseries. "Bright, shiny futures are overrated anyway." "That is why we gotta get what we can. Right now." - Lee Adama and Kara Thrace, "Scar"
From author's summary: This story takes place in an alternate universe, a universe in which Lee Adama recognizes and acts on his feelings for Kara Thrace far sooner than he did in canon.
True Blood (x1)
- Weapons of Destruction, by queen_haq_fics. Rated NC-17 (Eric/Sookie, AU, based on the TV series).
(Incomplete/ongoing fic) This is a completely AU fic, set in a universe where there is no magic and no vampires, etc. Our two characters meet and fall in love. It's pretty amazing to be able to change the setting of the story so completely and still have these two characters feel like they are the people we 'know' from the TV show. Very awesome.
