Crossover Fanfiction (A to Z)
(Back to disclaimers page.)
  • Alas, Babylon, by Ian K. Farscape/Babylon 5. PG (John Chrichton/Aeryn). Recommended by Angela.
A believable reason why the two series can fit together makes this gem all the more fun. The Author treats each universe fairly, which is a relief after some of the duds I've come across.
  • April 10, 1997 and the sequel, The sum of their parts, by Mediancat. Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Daria. PG-13. Recommended by Angela.
Angela's comments: What if Faith had repressed memories? What happens when accessing these memories results in the waking up of the previous personality? What would happen if a prison physciatrist figures this out? An idea that sounded weird to me really works in these AU fics. Daria/Faith and Glory make for a good read.

  • Bridges, by Tassos. Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Stargate. PG. Recommended by Angela.
After the collapse of Sunnydale, Jack gets a call about a woman he knew over twenty years ago... and the son he never knew he had. This story has all of the humor you could expect from Jack O'Neill and Xander Harris as well as a gorgeously developed family relationship.

  • Carpe Noctem, by Lianne Burwell. Once a Thief/Kindred the Embraced. NC-17 (slash). Recommended by Angela.
Angela says: The third story in the series is currently being written. This series sends Mac, Vic and Lianne deep into the Kindred world. Certain people are turned and much is learned. How enigmatic a summary is that? And the Director really is a blood-sucking fiend. :)
  • Changing of the Guard, by Ecolea. SG1/Highlander. R and PG-15. Recommended by Angela.
There are five stories in this series. Briefly, Methos joins SG1 and an origin for the immortals is proposed, which ties into the Stargate universe. Very, very good.
NB: More fic by this author can be found here.
NB: Ecolea has reportedly retired from writing fan fiction.
  • Children of Light, by Pamela Eaton (thunderchild). Roswell/First Wave. PG-13. Recommended by Angela.
A Crossover between Roswell and First Wave. The Twice-Blessed Man (First Wave) comes to Roswell in search of "children" prophecied in the book of Nostradamus. Gua Acolytes are searching for those 'children' too. Mostly action, but there is some romantic focus. Takes place right after 'River Dog', but before 'Blood Brothers'.

  • Daring Adventure (A), by Trinket2018. Criminal Minds/NCIS/Stargate: Atlantis/Stargate: SG1/The Sentinel. Rated R (Rodney McKay/John Sheppard, Anthony DiNozzo/Teyla Emmagan, Daniel Jackson/Vala Mal Doran/Jack O'Neill, Spencer Reid/Cameron Mitchell, Jim Ellison/Blair Sandburg). Recommended by Angela.
(Author's summary) Zeds (two-gendered humans) have always been persecuted. When Dr. Spencer Reid’s gender status is outed, in a disastrous and horrifically public way, he needs to get off the planet for his own safety. Dr. Daniel Jackson has just the job for him. Another galaxy *ought* to be far enough…

  • Dawn Summers, Marine, by Tals. Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Stargate. PG. Recommended by Angela.
Life goes on beyond the end, but moving from one life to another is not always easy: Dawn's journey as she tries to find a new home, and build a new life within the sgc. A story of finding the balance between two worlds. Past and future. I rarely read stories involving Dawn as a main character since I usually find her annoying. However, this story successfully let Dawn be a grown up and let her integrate into a nice rendition of the Stargate reality.

  • Destiny's Bond, by Wolfling. The Sentinel/Stargate:SG1. NC-17 (Blair/Enqueri). (Alternate Jim). Recommended by Angela.
While on a mission with SG-14, Dr. Blair Sandburg finds his destiny. I actually read this a long, long time ago and enjoyed it the second time around as much as the first. I've never seen an episode of 'The Sentinel' but the story has enough exposition to cover any missing knowledge.

  • Equinoxium, by Lisette. BtVS/Lord of the Rings. Rated PG-13/T. Recommended by Bea.
Author's summary: For the Powers That Be, the Balance is the Key and the Slayer is their tool. As such, they will do anything to restore the Balance on one world and retain it on another - no matter the cost.

  • Eye of the Storm, by Jana_C. Teen Wolf/Star Wars. PG-13 (Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski). Recommended by Angela.
Author's summary: Great change is often brought about by the smallest actions - when the Jedi interfere in the Kalee-Huk conflict, none of them knew they would be starting a chain of events that would change the whole Galaxy forever. Caught in the eye of the storm, Jedi Stiles must figure out his place in his Order and in the war, even as he discovers that the Jedi Order isn't what he had always thought.

  • Future Winnings (parts 1 to 5), by Ecolea. Xfiles/Voyager. PG to R. Recommended by Angela.
Five stories in all. Mulder was found in stasis in an alien vessel and taken aboard Voyager. He becomes their new counselor and these stories relate how he gets along with the crew and a whole new universe.
NB: More fic by this author can be found here.
NB: Ecolea has reportedly retired from writing fan fiction.
  • Greater Ennemy (The), by Shane Killian. Babylon 5/Star Trek the Next Generation. Rated G. Recommended by Bea.
Bea's note: I found this story on the internet one day and had a good laugh. As the author states on their site, it is a parody of both Babylon 5 and Star Trek: the Next Generation which favors neither show and pokes fun at both. It begins with the Enterprise D ending up in Babylon 5 space because of some rift thingie. ;)
  • Hells Handyman, by Kazwil. Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Anita Blake book series. R for violence. Recommended by Angela.
(Incomplete fic) Xander-centric. Xander has been thrust into another dimension and has been given a destiny he sure as hell doesn't want. Xander is far more than comic relief in this story and I think enough information about the Anita Blake universe is given that the non-converted can muddle their way through.
NB: More fic by this author can be found here.
  • Heroes series, by Angel and Rina. Smallville/Batman. NC-17 (Clark/Dick Grayson). Recommended by Angela.
NOTE: Lex is a bad, bad man. Clark starts over in Bludhaven. Sexy, and humorous and very AU. 7 stories so far.
NB: More fic by these authors can be found here and is recommended in these pages (i.e. see the ‘Harry Potter’, ‘Jeremiah’, ‘Stargate:Atlantis’, ‘Smallville’, and ‘Veronica Mars’ sections).
  • Lamb and the Light series (The), (Let There Be Light, and Lie Down With The Lamb), by Ecolea. Xfiles/Highlander. PG-13 and R. Recommended by Angela.
Mulder dies his first death and Methos becomes his reluctant teacher.
NB: More fanfic by this author can be found here and here.
NB: Ecolea has reportedly retired from writing fan fiction.
  • Search and Rescue series, by Laney G. Stargate-SG1/Buffy the Vampire Slayer. PG-13 (Daniel/Willow friendship). Recommended by Angela.
Angela's comments: Beginning with Lost Warrior, Instinct and continuing with Heroics, this series takes place in a world where Graduation ended very differently. Willow joins the Air Force and then the StarGate project in a capacity you might not expect. The characters are well done and the writing drags you into the story. I highly recommend the other crossovers by this author as well.

  • Something Beautiful On The Horizon, by Morraine. NCIS/Stargate: SG1/Stargate: Atlantis/The Sentinel. Rated R (male/male slash, Anthony DiNozzo/John Sheppard, Anthony DiNozzo/Rodney McKay, Anthony DiNozzo/John Sheppard/Rodney McKay, Jim Ellison/Blair Sandburg). Recommended by Angela.
(Edited author's summary) Nearly all of his life, Tony DiNozzo had known that he was only weakly latent and would probably never come online. As he's comfortable with himself and not terribly interested in change, it comes as a shock when a vacation with an old friend turns his life on its head. Out of the blue, his sleeping potential awakens.

  • Stargazers, Stargaters, by janelouise. Roswell/Stargate-SG1. PG13 (Max/Liz, Michael/Maria, Isabel/Alex, Kyle/Tess, Daniel/Sha're, Jack/Sam). Recommended by Angela.
Angela's comments: I really like this story for being able to combine the worlds of Roswell and Stargate in a way that is fresh and original. The aliens have returned to Antar and Alex and Liz are working at the SGC when guess what planet is dialed up next? This story has some strained dialogue but has a nice shmoopy centre with little angst. A nice, fun read.

  • That Summer, by dulcinea. Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Anita Blake book series. NC-17 (slash Xander/Asher). Recommended by Angela.
Angela's comments: What if Xander's car didn't break down in California on that ill-fated road trip? What if he made it to Missouri? This story started off intriguing and leaves you wishing for more. Asher's emotional makeup is left a bit of a mystery in the novels and this story gives you a look at the romantic side of him.

  • This Space Opera, by AthenaAstrea. NCIS/JAG/The Sentinel/Stargate SG-1/various fandoms. Rated NC-17 (male/male slash, Anthony DiNozzo/Jack O'Neill, A.J. Chegwidden/Harmon Rabb Jr.). Recommended by Angela.
(Edited author's summary) Guide Anthony DiNozzo thinks he's had his shot at bonding. He's met "his" sentinel and, for reasons that he doesn't want to talk about, he turned him down. That should be it. After all, if a person doesn't bond with their perfect match, they don't get another chance, right? Tony's former sentinel won't so much as consider bonding with another guide, even to treat his terminal illness. Leave it to Tony to break all the rules and in doing so, end up in the middle of a goddamned space opera, complete with politics, aliens, and his very own Space Force general. Okay, so technically, Major General Jonathan "Jack" O'Neill is Air Force, but by the time Tony is done, who knows, there may well be a sixth branch of the military. And who better to lead it than a guy who's saved Earth a few dozen times?

  • 'Uhane by Sealie. The Sentinel/Hawaii Five-O (2010). Rated R (male/male slash, Steve McGarrett/Danny "Danno" Williams). Recommended by Angela.
(Author's summary) Sentinel fusion AU Hawaii 50.
NB: More fic by this author can be found here.
  • we can be heroes 'verse, by allirica. Teen Wolf/Avengers (The)/Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (TV). Rated NC-17 (male/male slash, Steve Rogers/Stiles Stilinski). Recommended by Angela.
    (Edited author's summary) "Wait, you’re a superhero?”
“How do you not know? My face is literally on the news on a weekly basis.”
“I’m in grad school. I won’t have time to follow popular media until I finish my thesis. You’re lucky I’ve carved out some non-existent free time to date you.”

  • year in the life series (A), by lisaroquin. Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Stargate. PG. Recommended by Angela.
It begins with the revelation Loki didn't stop with creating a clone of Jack O'Neill. He created four children with cloning technology and various combinations of DNA from SG1 and Janet Frasier. Loki had also been experimenting with his own little breeding program 20 odd years before--that resulted in one Alexander LaVelle Harris. The insanity only builds from there.
Angela adds: While it can be confusing following all of the characters, you can always count on laughing.
