Photo manipulation completed with Illustrator CS. I think it's made of 481 layers, all pen tool.
Now I can't stop looking at things in real life now and imagining where to plot the points and curve the lines. It's kinda crazy.

By the way, have any of you seen the new cover for the Taschen catalogue? I LOVE the painting- I found it online thankfully because I had to show everyone. I think it's gorgeous, but am unsure who painted it. [Put him on my favorites list though!]
