Illustrate a song and incorporate the lyrics into the design. I chose Of Montreal's song Pancakes for One.
The words are hard to read here, but I swear it's easy in person. It says, "All I've left of you is a photograph which only upsets me 'cause I can't draw your attention, you're frozen in time."
I usually don't draw things from straight outta my mind for class- for most art classes we draw still life projects. But this 2D class is different, in that all our work had to be completely original pieces.
Friday I met Jenny and Michael at Home Depot while they were picking out paint for their bathroom in their new house with Andrew and Chris. I am so excited for all of them!
Later that night, Andrew and Alan came over too, and we all danced in Michael's room, turning it into some insane night club. Jenny and I then practiced our contortion.
Sarah's coming home for Christmas~ I'm happy to see her, maybe we can sneak out to Waffel House again- It'll be just like old times. The last time we snuck out, Austin brought some chocolate pudding and applesauce cups, and we argued about which would be better to wrestle in.
I still have the pictures we took- You can see the applesauce/pudding cups at the bottom, haha. Waffel House is best secretly with friends at 4am.
