I think it's actually just "The Ten AUs" meme or something. That was how I wheedled a friend into writing me the only Hashi/Mada highschool AU in existence. RESPECT THE MEME~

A-actually I've barely read any, from a derth of recs.. my familiarity with it is solely the aesthetic look of it, in fantasy/comic art. But that is exciting, are they good?

Hardcore cyberpunk fans would probably scoff, but Neal Stephenson is one of my favorite writers. Try "Snow Crash," or maybe "The Diamond Age" if you want something really intense and mindfucky (cyberpunk pan-Asian crime mob mafia Victorian boarding school coming-of-age story with most badass female protagonist ever YES PLZ) *_______*

Just never liked the idea, and it makes for good blackmail being the only sober one :) But maybe you should take advantage of hidden stores of wittiness and...scribble out something interesting...
