So time is counting down on both sn_exchange and bitter nakano, but I'm doing okay on them. A more serious problem is that I am actually experiencing serious ita/shi withdrawal. I'm well aware that the draught is cause everyone is scrambling to prepare their magical works of literature/art, but still: my suffering, it is endless

I feel like this fic is hit-or-miss for people, but it's one of my favorites even though (or probably because) it's mostly gen Kakashi & Itachi and pre-reveal at that. Also, that author writes hands down the best crack!fic in this fandom, in my opinion.

In other news, I HAVE A PLUSH KAKASHI KEYCHAIN. My brother got it for me from Japan! Everyone loves Kakashi, even if he doesn't quite hold a candle to the unadulterated crazy of our beloved Uchiha fam.

I may be a leper in Kakashi fandom because I like him best with...with Rin? /hides

Apparently nothing comes close to the obsession with the crazy Uchiha boys. My life, where did you go? Oh right, I threw you away to the Dark Side of the force.

Rin? Rin??? oh darling, you so CRAZY! Just kidding, that is legit. Speaking of Rin, here's the thing I never figured out, HOW DID SHE DIE? In Kakashi Gaiden, she gets saved! So she dies some other way in-between Kakashi Gaiden and the Kakashi's later years. It is never explained unless I am crazy and missing something.

...so.... starved for ita/shi.... re-reading stromateis and raikiri daiquiri for the billionth time..... ._.

...that, or she died for the Mangekyou Sharingan (idek). THAT OR she is secretly a Yakushi clan member and Kabuto offed her in some ridiculously convoluted plot that will bear fruition in 300 chapters. THAT OR she died of disease, in a hitherto unforeseen propensity for irony on Kishimoto's part. THAT OR...

I TOO AM STARVED, JOIN ME IN MY STARVATION, LET US WANDER ACROSS THE DESERT HAND IN HAND. Also, my dear...you...do know that "Raikiri" isn't explicitly Ita/Shi, right? RIGHT? Or do you just have your OTP goggles on?

But seriously, I need more Ita/Shi. It was a serious ordeal just to get the damn exchange fic done, because with the total drought going on here, I can no longer inspire myself. I have resorted to sleepwriting drabble trades and crackfic just to feed my famished soul.

Oh yes, i know. (but when are the OTP goggles not on?) i just happen to adore/desperately need humor, and I never get tired of reading the scene where they're all having their horrible dinner together and Shisui is all 'BOTHER BOTHER BOTHER' thru the whole thing XD

The exchange cannot come fast enough, but on the other hand, I want it to come more slowly so we can revel in these lazy summer days while they last. Exchange date = two weeks till uni starts again D: VACATION, WHERE DID YOU GO? I have not written/drawn a single Ita/Shi piece this summer!

Um, well, I can feed you crack!fic and morbid drabbling, but the crack actually began its life as a precursor to "Seduction by Induction" and bears many similarities to that. Appalling stuff, but if you want, it's all yours <3 just tell me where to send it.

ISN'T THE TEXTURE THING USEFUL. This is when I wish I could actually paint, however :(
