This is exactly the bloody problem with Sasuke. he was clearly designed for maximum hotness, damn you kishimoto. I tend to hate characters with his personality, but like the look of those stupid dark-haired slightly-androgynous boys Japan is so good at.

I'm of two minds about how curly I want Shisui's hair to be. Wavy hair on Asian guys is... an interesting adventure. It has the potential to turn out surprisingly well, but often ends in tragedy. From the one manga picture of him, I always kind of imagine that his hair, IRL, would be moderately wavy and generally disheveled.

Too bad this dude has weird droopy eyes, otherwise he'd make a fair approximation. /overthinking

there've been a lot of serious shisuis floating about lately, so i decided to try. he must've been serious some points in his life, i am sure. he did have the doryoku and all.
there's a black-haired version, but believe it or not, it actually looks funkier :[

that dude DOES have droopy eyes. and kinda straight disheveled hair, but yeah, he's pretty close. man, Shisui in my head has craaazy wavy curly hair, apparently >__>

speaking of faces and characters..
Ok. ok. *deep breath* i have to ask the stupidest of all stupid questions ever... What do you think those lines on Itachi's face are? I've been pondering, and they seem to me sometimes like Kishimoto's cheap attempt to differentiate his face from Sasuke's, because otherwise they look like the same character only with different hair styles.
they are clearly not age-lines or stress lines, because that is a really fucking weird place for both those things.

I've always wondered about those... unique features of his. Ever since his character was introduced, really. Some people have told me that they think those lines might be scars, but I don't think so. Actually, I think they actually are stress lines. If you look at this picture of him as a child, you can them forming already, and they kind of create hollows on his face.

So I'm just going to say that Kishi fails at anatomy and has no idea where wrinkles actually form on a person's face :\

the thing is, they don't make him look stressed, though, (probably because they're in the wrong fucking spot) they look like a sort of abstract addition to his face, much like Naruto's fox lines. :/
nor do they detract from his hotness, wtf XD
