i liiiive again, with new and exciting fandoms.
This journal exists again! Shock and gasp! and now i have a new obsession, and it is naruto, yes. to my eternal shame. x_X
I always liked/read the manga, but I stopped cold at the Pain arc when it looked like they were going to kill Kakashi. I swore I was would stop reading it if they did something so..... imho, unforgivable. And that was that until recently, when sasunaru invaded my brain. God.
Now I'm into it again. it seems the only way i can do fandoms is to be really really obsessed with a particular series/couple, read nothing else for a long time, and then something else eats my brain. WHOO. first it was kurofai, then FMA (roy/ed) now sasu/naru.
i also continue my vendetta against watching anime, because most of it makes me want to hurl at the shoddy, twitchy animation. ...i'm a manga purist?
So enjoy dorky flailings for the extremely nerdy on the subject of the Naruto fandom.. mostly evil!Sasuke & Itachi.

On that same subject, evil!Sasuke is really off his rocker. I looked back when he was assembling Hebi and he seems so mild back then, even tho at the time I was like OH SASUKE YOU ARE SO COLD AND EVIL. But compared to, y'know, killing Karin, Hebi-Sasuke spares random people and refuses to kill anyone, lectures Orochimaru on using people as science tools, and saves his team from the flailing ox-octopus...thing. Yeah.
I also realized something else, something very Snape-like, about the way this is being set up:
They are setting up Sasuke to be unredeemable, so of course, he will be redeemed. DUR. This is how authors like to try and emotionally manipulate their audiences, by making it seem like one outcome could not possibly happen.
But think of all the signs:
-Itachi gave Naruto a piece of his power for "if Sasuke attacked Konoha," saying he hoped Naruto would never have to use it.
-in the little elemental circle of lameness, wind power beats lightening, so suck on it, Sasuke. Rasengan eats Chidori for breakfast. >/
-Kyuubi to Sasuke: "Don't kill Naruto. You'll regret it."
-When the Senju & Uchiha faced off hundreds of years ago, Hashirama won and Madara lost, and Sasuke & Naruto are their descendents.
-Madara is lying somewhere.
-Sasuke has clearly gone crazy (www.onemanga.com/Naruto/483/14/ ) and characters can't stay that far in the deep end for forever. Something has to give.
-..Naruto is the MAIN FUCKING CHARACTER. Sasuke isn't going to steal his show; Naruto is going to succeed- because that's his right.

Also, sidenote, why does Sasuke seem to get more attractive the more evil he gets?!?! JUST WONDERING.
