What A Wavy Day...
Well woke up this morning for placement at 7:05am felt like crap from the night before cause it was my buddy mike's birthday so we went out to wingy wednesday at the college pub and I think I had a tad too much to drink, atleast I didn't eat burger king this time and contract food poisoning. Went to bed at 1am last night kind of tired today, but feeling better now cause of lunch, had a subway footlong roast beef sandwich. It was good along with some chocolate milk, so my stomach is at a content state. Spent my morning here at placement doing a walkthrough for the install of Microsoft Streets & Trips 2006 for users here at my placement. Got that done and did some regular electronic paperwork setting up people who are either joing the corporation or leaving the corporation or just taking leave. So just surfing the web till lunch is over now.
Kind of nice that my placement is over tomorrow but I also kind of dread it as well cause i've kind of fallen into a groove of getting up for work wed, thurs and fridays. I applied for a job at my placement, but like me and like 200+ other people also applied for this one job here. Hopefully I get it, its only for 8 months on contract but the pay is pretty good and I would like to start making some money for my work. It drives me up the wall that us college students don't get paid like university students do on placement. I swear its to show that were scum or something, even though I know more stuff than some of the university students cause i've had hands on training. But whatever.
Just waiting to get my marks back now from my teachers on my two projects and get my mark for my placement next week. Hopefully everything is all good, I'm still worried about my marks even though in the end everything worked out pretty well for my two projects this semester. Graduation is on May 13th, its going to one crazy graduation cause like there's a wack load of students so its going to be a long presentation almost two hours, atleast my course isn't first in line and not last either, its right in the middle so its all good and no sweating my butt off in the hot sun, there doing the presentation in the gym this year which is good. Cause them gowns get damn hot according to my brother. Now all I gotta do is find a job. Well time to get back to work and listen to my Iriver while working. Mmmmm music.
