Information is scarce, and getting people to talk is a greater challenge. I have made contact with one individual from Spain, but he and I had little to say. All that I got from him was that Albert is lurking around here somewhere. I haven't made contact with him yet though.
Warm water is out of the question. Everything seems to run cold here. Not that I mind. It gives the mind focus. However, the lack of food does seem to be a large problem. Canned goods seem to be the most common commodity here, in terms of edibles.

If zombies weren't enough, I have learned that, here, vampires rules the streets. I was never a superstitious man before, but I believe what Jack had to say. There was no reason for him to lie to me anyway; we were only faint acquaintances during our time in Spain.
I would like to avoid Albert, if at all possible. I don't know how well his temperament is, nor do I know how he currently feels towards me. An irate Tyrant is something I would rather avoid while I am trying to settle in.
