"But if we want to go get coked out even though our bodies aren’t made for that then we can. If we want to have sex with multiple partners or with the same gender then we can. AIDs used to be a homosexual male’s disease, it’s arguable that if homosexuality didn’t have the prevalence it once did and still does then AIDs wouldn’t have become the epidemic it is. On the same note STDs in general wouldn’t be the huge problem that they are now if adultery wasn’t common practice."
That makes me puke.
AIDS is and was an unprotected sex disease, not the "homosexual male's disease." You can't tell me that the millions dying in Africa got it all because of homosexuality.
"People didn’t doubt the divine creation of the universe until the theory of evolution."
I agree with Danny on this one. There is NO doubt in my mind that before the evolutionary theory, there were people questioning the divine creation. Not perhaps to the extent evolutionary theory does, however.
BTW, just for future reference, that could have been a valid point of you qualified it. Like... "Doubt in the divine creation of the universe was much less common before evolutionary theory." English rawks my world.
And again I agree with Danny on this one.
"No other religion can say that they have what we who believe in Jesus do, which is a God who doesn’t just care enough to make us and a world that can support us. Not a bunch of gods who came together in a counsel and thought about how to make earth and populate it. Not a bunch of idols that we create expressly for worship although it is our hands who make them and not theirs who make us. No, this is a God who created it all, controls it all and knows it all. He doesn’t throw lighting bolts at people when He’s angry, and He permits us to do as we please, even if it is wrong. This is a God of choice. We choose to follow Him, or not to follow Him. He loves us to the point of taking human form and suffering human pains and humiliations, all for the salvation of the human race. All we have to do is choose to accept that."
Brush up on your Islam before you make the claim that "no other religion" has it.
