apartment lease

I signed a one year lease for an apartment and a month later I got married to my boyfriend who is in the Army and is stationed 2 1/2 hours away. He deployed last month and we are looking to get out of this lease and into a house with a backyard. He informed me that because we're married now, there shouldn't be an issue with getting out of this lease since he's deployed.

Is there anything saying that since I had the apartment before we married, that I'm stuck here?
