Band, actually. I was a solo artist for a bit before another guitarist kicked me out of the top spot and I ended up drumming for him. After that we found two others, and it all kicked off from there.

Ha, really? Playing with a rival, wasn't that kind of tough?

At first I thought it was going to be. But then after that I got in some trouble, and uh... he helped me out of it. We were close after that; not so much rivals as friends. I knew I could rely on him.

[Gideon isn't being as in-depth as he could about that situation for a few different reasons. One, it was a bit on the personal side, and two, it was a damn long story that would take a lot of explanation.]
