Genesis allowed it in the end. And in the end, his madness and that green took him over. He was lost to me and everyone.

Well...after I told him, he...did tell me not to again. Unless he needed it, which I have yet to understand though perhaps in the end that might have been kinder than the pigeon loving creature he was becoming.

Angeal believes me. Mother trusts me. That is...really all that matters, Zack.

I don't expect you to be happy about it, Zack. If Angeal wishes to leave, I am not caging him. He isn't...chained to my side...nor my bed, despite that dream.

And for some reason, none of them ever leave, even after you're killing them. I have to wonder if you're right at all about not being chained.
