Just... sometimes people aren't who you think they are. Or, not so much that, but there's a side of them that is more real than you originally thought. I just--

He's a good guy. He just surprised me with some answers, and not in a "good surprise" sort of way.

It's true. Sometimes people have sides to them that you can't understand. That you might not even like.

But...if you really care about that person, you do it with acceptance of all sides of them.

I know, and most of what he told wasn't new. I guess, it's the details that are new. They're just things I hadn't really thought about before. It doesn't change what I think about him, but it made me take a step back. Kinda surprised me is all.
