Obviously some of them thought that people deserved to die. Good, upstanding people too, I bet!!

Some, because they're afraid. Fear makes us do stupid things.

Or it could be because they're angry at someone. Like, for instance, I could be mad at you for having spiky hair and could have told the board I hated you and wanted you dead. AND THEN THERE YOUR NAME IS.

but I didn't. Just saying. It isn't always fear.

If it's hate, then it's still cowardice because you're electing someone else to do your work for you.
