02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Luffy, actually. When I watched the first few episodes of the show, his voice was so grating. But now I've come to appreciate him for the retard he is.
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't
Sanji. I understand his appeal, I think, but I'm just not feeling the love, you know? Probably because I like characters who are like me in some way, and Sanji... is not. At all. I just don't get him, on a very basic level.
It might be worrisome that I get Kuro more than Sanji, but whatever.
04. The character I love that everyone else hates
Helmeppo. He's fun to watch. I think I might still have the only Helmeppo/Koby slash on the internet. At least I'm winning at something.
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer
I'm having the same problem as I did with Phoenix Wright--I like everyone too much. But I'll say, um, Zoro. Because I don't tease him as much as I used to. But I still love him, so this whole answer is fraudulent. You won't tell, will you?
06. The character I would shag anytime
Robin. Or Kuro. Or Robin and Kuro (where's my doujinshi?). Or Kureha, if I could get to her island before she died of old age.
07. The character I'd want to be like
Nami all the way. Beauty? Intelligence? Assertiveness? A sense of direction? As far as I'm concerned, she's my ideal woman.
08. The character I'd slap
Arlong. I don't think any explanation is necessary.
09. A pairing that I love
Y'know, One Piece really isn't a pairing fandom for me--I love it for the crack. But if I had to pick, I'd say Zoro/Swords. Oh baby.
10. A pairing that I despise
Sanji/Zoro. It's just really, really not-there for me. I understand the concept of rivalslash and all, but if it's gonna be rivalslash, it's gotta be From Eroica With Love-style. Sanji and Zoro just fight. Plus Sanji likes boobs.
