(no subject)
So I'm still here. They pushed back my fly date three times thus far but I am still supposed to be moving. Right now they are telling me to plan to leav Wed. I'm all kinds of warm and fuzzy about going to Kosovo now though. My boss has been here since friday and between him and talking to willie our Camp bondsteel(where I will actualy stay) attendant I am more positive about not only going but also maybe remaining with this company.
All week my boss and I have been training the folks from MC Dean that are supposed to take my terminal. The people are nice but not one of them are SATCOM people. Plus the guy who will be taking the "tech lead" showed up for training with an offer letter for another company in his back pocket. So after training this guy he won't even be working the equipment.
I've already ibterviewed for a new company (MC dean) but I am far less sure of taking a position with thme. During training, I have heard from theur techs that the company is shitty to work for. beyond that they don't pay well either. I have pretty much decided at this point I wil not take the job unless the money is roght. we will see what happens.
