this sucks.
I got an e-mail off of my boss on monday telling me a group from Corporate HQ was coming over to europe for a meet and greet. I was asked to handle some of the logisitics as they plan on using Stuttgart as a base for their visit. I started writing a long e-mail asking questions that were pertintent to the visit and then I realized what dates they were really talking about. March 18th - 22nd... I was leaving for Amsterdam on the 18th and was to return on the 22nd. I didn't put in for vacation time because our boss that runs our european operations has a policy that we don't need to take vacation for short trips arround europe as long as we sort out coverage. My grandfather was fond of saying "no you got" (you start out with no, so you can only get a better answer than that) so I asked for vacation even though a) it's short notice and b) They expect my help setting up this visit. What makes this suck even more is that I already paid like 280 dollars for the festival tickets and they are "will call" which mean I can't sell them because only I can pick them up. oh well... We will see what happens.
