I've been in Rhode Iskand since late monday night. It's hard to believe that Bonnaroo is over and I will soon have to resume my mundane life...

Bonnaroo was incredible. I got into Birmingham on Wed. afternoon. Bob-o and Spence picked me up at the airport and showed me a little bit of birmingham. We set out for Manchester about 4am and met up with some friends of Bob on the way there. We ended up being a 6 car caravan. one of the girls needed to go to "Will-call" which turned out to be both a good thing and a bad thing. The good part was by going to "Will-call" we avoided the huge traffic jams and got in to the site by about 10 am. The bad part is they put us all the way back at camp griswald. We set up camp and I decided to get a few much needed hours of sleep before the Thursday night shows. Unfortunatley my burning the candle at both ends caught up with me and my friends could not wake me up.

Friday we headed to the venue about 11:45 to catch Old Crow Medicine Shows set at 1pm. I got seperated from the group and it ended up taking me and hour and a half to get through the gate. Old Crow was awesome. I went looking for my friends so I ended up catching bit and pueces of The Gourds, John Prine, Drive by truckers, Dave Mathews, and a few others that hopefully I'll remember later. Old crow, John Prine and Dave were the high-lights of thursday for me. I split towards the end of Dave (and missed Robert Randolph!) and went back to camp. By the time Bob and Co. came back I had passed out in a chair and wasn't motivated enough to get up for the late night shows.

I'll update some more tommorrow. Until then goodnight...
