I'm leavin on a jet plane...
So I'm going to the balkans on Monday. It'll be my first trip there, and surprisingly, I am looking forward to it. Today has been hectic trying to get all the last minute items taken care of. What I acomplished today:
Tried to get my car started for 3 hours (have I mentioned I hate my mercedes right now.)
Missed Lunch with spoon.
Got new orders covering me until Jan 06.
Inventoried equipment manuals (so I can beg borrow or steal missing ones while in Kosovo.)
Gave my equipment, shelter, and generator a once over so that perhaps nothing will break while I am gone.
Arranged for the safe keeping of my keys while I am gone.
Arranged for coverage of my terminal while I am gone.
Got my travel itinerary.
Sent my itinerary to my boss.
Purchased a small duffel (only going to be gone three days.)
Found my passport (it's amazinbg how little I need this thing living in Europe.)
Arranged lodging in Lahndstuhl for sunday night.
Packed said duffel.
Now if I can just get my laundry done I'll be ready to go. See you on the flip side.
