(no subject)

My advice to anyone considering applying for Ph.D. programs: take the GRE (and subject test, if applicable) well before you need to start worrying about applications. It's pretty stressful to work on both at once. I'm also supposed to be doing an independent project at work that I haven't even started on due to studying for the GRE. I need to get faster at those math problems.

On the bright side, I have been preparing, and I've also made arrangements for another letter of recommendation, I brainstormed the content of a personal statement for UC Berkeley's prompt (which I hope will be broadly applicable to the other prompts), and I started filling out the UChicago application (the only one available, so far).

At least I'm procrastinating by doing productive things.
