you were so damn near,
at the same time so far.

you embark bravely on certain things,
yet you falter from the slightest setback.

the results you get surpass your expectations,
but you fall short of coming close to the others.

such a disgrace.

death is...

all your joy will be fleeting,
your sadness will be equal.

losing all your friends, your love and your kin,
they'll never have a chance to hurt you again.

and everything you once knew will be meaningless,
for nothing you know had meaning in the first place.
