I've been a little under the weather this week and with art school applications and a head cold I haven't spent much time with my friends. I'm going to help my friend S cook dinner tonight for a group of people and I think afterwards we will head to the local cafe and watch another mutual friend perform. It's just an open mic night, but I get excited whenever I have a chance to see someone I know making art. It pushes me to play the keyboard more, although I did today. J and I had a "jam session" complete with sound effects and seventies disco beats. He wants to call our band Mr. Fetus' Magical Adventure Land, but I lean towards Skinny Wednesday. It's classier and I don't run out of breathe saying it. It's only our second time playing together and we're already having artistic differences....
