Another rushed Update
Weekend: MR went well, though honestly I'm glad it's past a bit, now I can put my mind to other things. I think everything with the carnival went over well which makes it mostly worth it.
Earlier this week: Figured out what I'm doing for costumes for parties and for work. Got asked to be something for work, so that makes life easier and makes me feel like I fit in a bit better. My costume for Sat. is kinda weak, but good enough I suppose.
Had a moot court at work, which was a simulated testimony on a practical case I did. Went well enough, though I made a few errors. Had my certification test for Marijuana today, and passed so once the paperwork goes through I'm at least good to go for marijuana. Next stop: every other drug. (it's an oddly inefficient system)
I went to Goodwill today and got a good zombie blazer (that is to say a $3.99 special) and a $9 beige trenchcoat, which is something I've been trying to find. It's not great material (part polyester) which accounts for the price, but it was a sweet find. I was going to do a Sam Spade kinda Halloween thing, but since I couldnt find this til now, a day or two before I'd need it (and am lacking a hat and time to get one) it'll have to wait til another day.
Had a good time watching Friday the 13th last night with lady_tyrael and the gang, and missed some sleep talking to renaissance_doc til later than I should. Good times though, and I've got a nice relaxing night tonight. By relaxing I mean cleaning my condo and food shopping, but it's less stressful than most nights lately.
Really looking forward to Green Day tomorrow. Guess that's it, so I'll end my boring rambling now.
