- Revolver -

: a fine lesson in economics filmed by the guy who did Snatch and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.

I think its about money, greed, and governments - its so vague I guess you could consider those themes the characters. A wonder-filled movie, when it ended, there were no credits, it was just stright to the point, "Ok, The End - Now start thinking about what in the world you just saw, or you'll may have to watch this film 20 times untill you get it right."

I admit, I did think about it for about 20 seconds of blank screen time as the end music played out, then I went to IMDB to try and connect all the peices. Wonderfull.

I won't spoil anything, but I must say the lesson I seem to have learned is - don't kill yourself over the trivial, trite things - green-backs are an unjust thing to fight yourself or anyone over.

On second thought, I must give this movie so much more credit for not including any credits at the end of the film - as it opens new doors to cinematic possibility and teaching evolved lessons of a whole new open-ended and will-powed design. The lesson again, is never to let the man get you down - don't cry, keep singing - love your neighbor and don't screw him over either or you'll end up screwed - even if the system is against you, you don't have to be defeated in any opposition to it, it is possible to support any system of decadence by simply allowing yourself to influence it, by acknowledging its influence (again, capital influence) one is more easily able to move around it. Also - don't hate - "If you hate something, don't you do it too." Pearl Jam said that.

I say end war, war is over, peace rules, freedom, liberty, dreams... hokey? common sense? rhetoric? Nope - just totaly misunderstood, uneducated, and injust components of simple symbols of progress that have been internaly perverted by the "system", the "man", the "opposition"... ...its only money, it doesn't rule over lives - it isn't a valid form of government. And this isn't totaly absurd or unlawful, it is a valid and legal responce to an injust justice system - good night and good luck!
