10 ☼ where the cities are made of gold?

I'm a little nervous that I might be on the TSA watch list, after I pulled a stunt in the airport, but it was worth it. Some guy was picking a lady's pocket. Then that girl was running a little too late for her flight. Then a flurry of other little things. I mean, I'm not the most un-heroic guy typically, but this is one kind of homecoming ( Read more... )

About time you showed your face around here, brother-in-law. I've already met your son and granddaughter.

This is what I get for pulling a disappearing act, isn't it? I'll have to stick around the complex more often, or else we might get an Endymion, too.

How long have you been here, eh?

We might just do; seems the entire extended family is slowly making their way here. I see your own wife is has been brought here as well.

I managed to evade Cronus for a while, but he caught up with me about three weeks ago. It's irritating, to say the least. And how has the mortal life been treating you, hero complexes aside?

So it seems. Yeah, all we need are a few more of the clan and we could book an entire park for a reunion.

Irritating at first, but you kind of get used to it. Finding little things that help is usually a sturdy plan. Kind of like a itch that you can ignore if you focus enough.

Excellent idea, we should have one of the younger ones organise that. We might end up scaring some mortals, but they'll live.

Hmmm. Eos being here helps, I suppose. And my pest of a brother, though I will never tell him that. I hoped not to have to adjust, but it seems we are all most trapped here indefinitely without escape. The prospect of this being long-term does concern me. What do you make of it?

Additionally, brother-in-law, you will need to watch out for gorilla attacks: preparation of the correct attire and a suitable number of bananas is paramount.

I'm pretty sure we are only marginally less normal than the average mortal family. They'll definitely live.

I've been here since April, so I guess I'm a bit more used to the idea of long-term. The world has kept turning, and an impostor keeps my job going so I'm pretty set. It's just the games and surprises that trip me up, other than that I'm not really exactly worried. Worried for the people and things left? Oh yeah. But not for the people here, typically.

Oh really now?
