That is very confusing. It is no wonder people do not really worship us properly anymore. They've been feed some very unbelievable ideas.

But, um, ma'am? The sun really is that way now. We learned about it in, um, school. I'm sorry.

I can imagine Chronos would have to replace my brother with something. Pulling the very Sun from the sky would do irreparable damage, as evidenced by our own experience. The would could not just suddenly be without him, or my sister either. Making inanimate objects to serve the purpose is a logical move, as opposed to instilling another deity with a will of their own into the positions.

And it's, um, millions of miles a way. Which helps I suppose?

Darling, mortal knowledge is silly. My brother will always be the sun, no matter what the confused mortals might think. You're ahead of the curve for knowing better in my book.

Can't it be, um, both, ma'am?

I don't know how it could possibly be both. Mortals these days just prefer to deny things if they can't prove their existence. But my brother is right here, solid and as believable as they come, don't you think?

But if he's, um, here something has to be up there? And, um, they sent rockets. They've seen that the mortal sun is, um, there.

I mean I, um, know he's real, ma'am. Not that I've poked him or anything.

I'm not even sure what to say to the whole thing. I mean, science? Pretty cool thing, all things considered. But I think the only thing making this okay is the puppets.

I wonder how long I've been gone.
