"I went grocery shopping last night, so there's finally food in the house. However, I felt like a huge annoyance in the check-out lane because several things didn't ring up at their sale price. I mentioned it (nicely!) to the clerk. For example, wheat crackers were on sale 2 for $3.00, but they rang up at $1.99 each. The frozen cheese pizza that said $3.47 on the package, rang up at $4.50. I wasn't trying to be a nuisance, but I really don't like being over-charged. If the store isn't really going to offer things at the price they advertise, they shouldn't put up signs about "sale items". I hope I wasn't being weird or rude. Do you think so?

When I got home, Annie was sticking her head out of the window, barking. She's been especially fiesty the past few days. She also begs me to take her outside constantly, because my landlords are having some kind of sprinkler system installed in our yard, and Annie wants to check it out. If she's not going to the window to tell me that Mandy is outside (the dog that lives downstairs), and asking to go out and play, she's trying to tell me that those people are down there working on the sprinklers. I wish it was nicer outside today, we could go take a walk. As it is, I think it's going to rain, so we're staying inside.

The mail just came. That's one of my favorite parts of the day."
