This was the 3rd and final piece I created for the 2022 NCIS Reverse Bang, featuring Kate-era team. This was claimed by Fulltobursting.
This is the original put up for claims:
The original piece focused on Gibbs and Tony. In fact, it was originally only Gibbs and Tony, but I never liked how it turned out, so I changed the side panels to Kate & Ducky and Tim & Abby. I was trying to create an eerie feel with the piece, and the prompt indicated I would be fine with a ghost story, which I was. I wasn't really thinking about Ghost!Kate, but it's a wonderful story, nicely told from her POV.
After reading the story, which focuses mostly on Tony and Tim investigating together, I moved them to the center panel. There's a bit with Gibbs on his own, so he was moved to the right panel. As the story is told from the POV of Ghost!Kate, she is in all three panels. Ducky and Abby also make small appearances in the story, but the banner felt too crowded when I tried adding them back in, so I settled for having Kate in the left panel on her own as this is her story.
