This year's NCIS SeSa

Sending a huge thank you and many hugs to dont_hate_me01 for writing Dinner guest for me! This is an interesting casefic with a super creepy bad guy (Hannibal Lecter style!). That plus the writing style convinced me early on that this is Dont_Hate_Me01's handiwork. I thought it was an interesting twist to have Gibbs kidnapped, as it's usually Tony...and most of us think Gibbs would be impossible to grab. However, if anyone could take Gibbs, it would be the super creepy bad guy in this story. This one kept me guessing. I had the feeling someone on Tony's team was involved. At first, I thought Ash might actually be the bad guy, but turned out I was wrong. Like other stories by Dont_Hate_Me01, this one kept me engaged and intrigued. So yep, great read!

I've had a pretty high-pressure year, so I was glad to get a request that involved cats. I can write cats. I looked through the other prompts and decided to take a stab at adding in Kort. I had to look through my previous stories as I couldn't remember ever writing Kort before, but found I had used him as a bad guy for SeSa one year in Between a Cock and a Hard Place. If memory serves, Gibbs killed him in that story. So, I challenged myself to write Kort as not such a bad guy.

I knew I would have guests just before Thanksgiving and would be leaving with them for the holiday, so my goal was to finish my story before Thanksgiving. And I did it! I finished writing on 11/17/2019. My earliest completion date for a SeSa story and the only one I've ever managed to finish writing before December. I am happy with the result. And that result is Operation Black Cat, which I wrote for cutsycat. It's based on the time Tony was working undercover and dating Jeanne. I had a lot of fun creating a kitty who got to mess with Tony a bit!

Summary:
Tony is working himself into exhaustion. He’s on Gibbs’ team by day and working an undercover mission for Director Shepard at night. The last thing he thought he needed was a mysterious black cat slipping into his life quite uninvited. Does the cat really exist or is it just a figment of his exhausted imagination? Will Tony ever feel well-rested again or will he continue to burn the candle at both ends? And just how will this black cat fit into his life?

I did some Googling for black cats and found three images I used for inspiration. I made one into an icon (see above icon!).

I really enjoyed reading all of the stories and am pleased with the quality and diversity of this year's collection! I hope everyone enjoyed participating and reading and hope to see everyone back for NCIS SeSa 2020.
