What I've been doing the last few days
I started with the pillows, since it's been driving me nuts having everything so blank and messy. I think I shall devote this entire weekend to cleaning and/or making things, actually, so that it can finally get DONE.
A while back, arkadia and I bought really awesome furniture for an insanely affordable price, and decided we wanted subtly nerdy pillows to put on them. Several yards of flannel and microsuede later, I produced this:
The dark brown ones are microsuede and have a very subtle pattern on them. We wanted some neutral pillows to go along with the nerdy ones. The nerdy ones, left to right, represent Nana, Fruits Basket, and Bleach. The last one will have a clover, representing Honey and Clover, because arkadia has been into that lately. That pillow's on her though; I don't know how she wants it to look after all.
Notice the mostly pink and green color scheme. Seriously, when did we become such girls?
A close-up of the Nana, Fruits Basket, and Bleach pillows. I am quite enamored with how Kyo came out, and the division 6 logo is fuzzy and fleecy. Hopefully eventually we'll have strawberry glasses to match the Nana pillow. We made Nana scarves last month to match as well. Can you tell we like Nana?
My bedspread is a very pretty color.
This is a month late, but I had never posted a picture of our Christmas tree. It was decorated predominantly with penguins. To the left you can also see my very awesome penguin mug.
Good luck to everyone cramming costumes in before ALA! Only a week left (for me, anyway, as I'm not showing up til Friday night and not wearing anything until Saturday). I'll be in Kaoru and Hunny that weekend. Until then, relaxing, cleaning, and work for me! Ha ha ha.
