After 2 weeks at the new job, I just got this e-mail from my boss:
Lindsay
I can't tell you how happy I am that you are working there. I feel so confident in your ability to take care of things there. Hopefully one day I will be able to spent two days at East York again really getting some major things done because of your ability to take on responsibility. I know I am speaking a little soon, but anyway, thank you so much.
Ashley had great feed back about you as well. I hope you guys get to meet soon. We will be a great team.

It makes such a difference to be working in a place where my talents and intelligence are appreciated. I encourage anyone who is in a job they are not happy with to take the risk and apply for something they really want. It's great to feel like a human being.
