Sorry about my last entry being friends only, but I'm sure you can understand.
So it seems that I will get none of my home improvement done while Brad is in NYC, because I AM GOING WITH HIM! Ryerson decided to subsidize the trip and get a charter, so it's dirt cheap, and I'm going. Any of my New York friends wanna hang out? I'll be there from the 18th (Fri.), until Sunday (20th).
I had a blast with Deja the other night, at the AddVice Soundtrack night at the Drake. We met an actor named Paul that Deja recognized from Canadian TV, an unlikely intellectual named Keith from the west coast who had lived all over the world, a homeless man named Duane who was half Micmac indian, a Canstage employee named Frank, and a painter/tattoo artist named Spilly (who decided my sweater was "cadmium red". As well there were the usual suspects, Dekel, Michelle, Vee, Suzie, etc.. We also met a tv/screen actor named Booth-Tyrone, and a musical theatre actor named Peter who was German/Scottish. We ended up hopping in a cab and going to the Bovine with the latter two for a few drinks and some terrible games of pool. I'm leaving out a few details here and there, but there's nothing like spending time with absolute strangers.
Sarah's coming home from North Bay tonight, although only for a bit before she hops a plane to California. The latest development is that Mark is coming to Toronto again in April, and is staying for an entire year with the Spivak's!! Does anyone know of any job openings for a Kiwi graphic/web designer who graduated at the top of his class and has a great portfolio? I have a few leads, but more couldn't hurt.
It also seems Kirsten has finally broken up with her bf once and for all. I believe this calls for a celebration....Madisson anyone; Friday night?
