What She Does
With her wonder she inspires him.
With that wide eyed naivety of hers, her natural ability to always looks for and find the best in man; she never becomes jaded despite the equal numbers of horrors she has seen. Her open mouthed wonder at the birth of a star, he finds the sight of her struck dumb in awe more beautiful than the nebula he has brought her to see. With the innocence of a child and the maturity of a woman she gives him the ability to see the wonders of the universe through a new pair of eyes.
With her strength she carries him.
When it all seems too much, when another day being the last of his kind in the universe seems a burden too heavy to carry anymore, her strength lends itself to him. When he is convinced that everything has its time and his time is now, once more he finds the weight that he carries is no longer crippling him. He finds he can carry on and live with his burden shared. With her standing by his side he finds the energy and drive he needs to put right all the wrongs he sees.
With her smile she uplifts him.
No matter where they are, no matter how dire the situation, that smile of hers warms his very soul. It fills him with a glow that reaches deep down into the very marrow of his bones. He finds the coldness of his hearts warming as her face lights up and it invigorates him and gives him a new drive; a determination to find a way out, a solution that is fair to all. He feels a desperate need to find a way so that 'Everybody Lives' and he can see that smile once more.
With her heart she forgives him.
Her fragile, singular human heart which is so capable of love and forgiveness puts his plural capacity to shame. Despite his frightening intelligence and centuries of experience, it is her, a human who finally shows him that he deserves to be forgiven and that process starts with forgiving himself. She shows him that he is not the cold blooded killer that time has convinced him he is. She makes him realise that desperate times call for desperate actions, and a brave and honourable man who will carry them through - no matter what the cost.
With her body she heals him.
Her lips soothe his scars from battle, invisible in this body though they are. Though only he knows where they are she straddles him and instinctively finds them as she crawls over his body, her hair trailing, peppering feather light kisses on each and everyone. Her gentle caresses tenderly calm the fires which have raged through his mind for an eternity. Then with her mouth she lights the fires of his manhood and when she gives herself completely to him, her body becomes the balm that heals his wounds and allows him to love.
