Article is good but there's one issue of erasure in here.

That PeekABooTranny app is transphobic/cissexist and transmisogynistic. Not sexist and homophobic.

By calling it sexism and homophobia, you erase trans people and subsume our concerns into the concerns of the gay community while implicitly claiming we're gay due to that. See the issue? You really ought to correct that sentence.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's at the root of it. It certainly is intermingled though, since this app seems to only be targeting trans women.

Generally we merge that sort of thing into transmisogyny, because the combo of sexism and transphobia is an exponentially vicious one

I would, but it's the kind of debate I really don't want to have. I mean, aside from being so beyond screamingly burnt out on activism - c.f. your post of 10 September, which I just found following your URL - there's no constructive reason. I'm pretty sure neither of us are the problem here. In the specific, Apple is; in the general, All This Crap is. So why get doctrinal? I'll probably go write some more angry songs, instead. People seem to like those.

I call it rage-driven acoustic elfmetal - commenters have said I actually pull off the metal thing sometimes. XD I'm working on my first full-length album now, and have done various side projects - you can hear some of them at http://crimeandtheforcesofevil.com if you'd like. This is mostly older stuff - the angrier material is more recently written. XD I'm fond of Shout at the Desert, even if I want to go back and tinker with the mix in the mastering stage. And Stars, and I like my engineering work in Hide from Me, but the listeners' clear preference is the alt-band track My Boyfriend. But listen to the spoken-word intro first or you'll be all lol whut.
