My parents live in a cave
Seriously. My parents home is a black hole for communication possibilities. At best, they have a landline and a very spotty dial-up internet connection. It took me 20 minutes just to coax the computer to get online today. It will be a miracle if this post makes it to my journal.
I am almost lost without my cell phone, but on the other hand it is quite a relief. No one can call me. No one can beg me to go to work (although, it's not as if I could, really). This was the whole point of my vacation anyway. And I have completely been taking advantage of it. And my parents vast DVD collection. I've only been home a week and I think I have watched 20 movies already. But then, my parents are not quite out of school yet (both being teachers), so I have not had them around to spend time with. That will be remedied as of tonight.
By the by, I can't beleive it took me almost a decade to watch Gattaca, but that movie is just fantastic.

Also, does anyone have a current e-mail address for Scott & Michelle?
