Music Help
A while ago I lost my music collection due to a random act of violence to music files by my computer. (I have no idea how it happened) I'm only getting around to really rebuilding it now. So far I have 643 songs. That's pretty sad, so I'm looking for music suggestions. Nothing too crazy, and no rap, but other than that I'm open to recommendations.
B- ben folds (rocking the suburbs, or whatever and ever amen)
C- coldplay (parachutes)
D- david bowie (the rise and fall of ziggy stardust)
E- earth, wind, and fire (anything, they're funky!)
F- franz ferdinand (you could have it so much better)
G- gnarls barkley (st. elsewhere) or gorillaz (demon days)---> same producer, both good
H- hawksley workman (last night we were delicious wolves)
I- iron maiden (the best of the beast... hehehe)
J- jimmy eat world (bleed american)
K- kanye west (late registration)- give rap a chance!
L- lauryn hill (the miseducation of lauryn hill)
M- matthew good band (beautiful midnight)
N- nelly furtado (loose) or neil young (harvest)
O- oasis (what's the story morning glory)
P- parliament (greatest hits- funkadelic!)
Q- queen (greatest hits volume I and II)
R- r.e.m. (automatic for the people) and radiohead (the bends) and red hot chili peppers (californication)
S- sam roberts (chemical city) and stars (set yourself on fire)
T- the tragically hip (no one album i can recommend, but they just released a greatest hits album, which is probably perfect)
U- U2 (the joshua tree)
V- velvet underground (peel slowly and see)
W- the weakterthans (left and leaving) or weezer (the blue album)
X- xzibit (only x artist i can think of, of pimp-my-ride fame- any song is good, or not...)
Y- yeah, yeah, yeahs (one song in particular- hello tomorrow)
Z- the zombies (one song again- she's not there)
