Weh Weh University is Stupid
University is a whole lot of boring right now. I'm currently waiting on emails from people that I emailed about buying their used textbooks (hehe just got one now- someone is going to sell me their Geography text for $25, sweet). I'm also waiting on OSAP stuff, and for Teh Boyfriend to download the World of Warcraft trial client.
I don't really have a lot of friends here, so there's not really a huge amount to do. Classes so far have been super boring, and I know no one in any of my classes, and there are 150 people in most of them. I know this will be better next week, when Bro is back and the Games club actually starts. Although that's just for afterschool friends, since Bro and most of the games club are second or third years.
Basically weh weh making friends is hard and all my roomies do to hang out is drink or go to clubs. Which I can't do because I am obviously not 19, and I have no intention of getting a fake ID just to go to some sweaty place full of badtouch and booze. I'll stick to maybe going out for a drink with Bro or something (by now you must know of my love for Shirley Temples).
I just wish more people in my year acted their age. Most first years are immature and yet acting older. I tend to like those that are mature but can still play "kid games". I don't get the appeal of clubs. From what I understand they play shitty music and have no concept of personal space.
I really hate being a first year. First year is stupid. I want to skip first year and be in second already, that seems to be where all the cool people are.
I hope studying will calm everyone down.
