2. Art Nouveau Alice
Reworked a piece of Alphonse Mucha's art.
I know it doesn't fit the period where the movie is supposed to take place. (Compared to the movie, art nouveau was popular several decades later, if the movie is set somewhere between 1865 and 1875 - at least I suppose that's when it's set, based on my poor knowledge of fashion in that century. Does anyone know?).
But it seemed way too much fun to put together Mucha and Alice's muchness to let it go by. :-)
Also, the quote, "As mad as a hatter, as bold as queen," is nicked from an Alice fanfic that I can't find anymore.
If anyone knows which and whose fic is, I'd be very grateful if you let me know, so I can link to it (and apologize to the author for using it without permission and credit).
EDIT: The line "As mad as a hatter, as bold as a queen" is a variation of the quote from shiegra's fic Impossible Things.
