Actually a lot of German words that are threatened with extinction + some I invented with a friend. English favourites are words like henceforth, neckerchief is quite funny, also flabbergasted, I like the sound of aquaintance, I always giggle when I hear someone use the word canoodle (even though it's a nice thing to do), gormless is nice, I love most of the words J.K. Rowling invented for the HP Universe (Spattergroit = hilarious!!! :D ) and for unknow reasons I like the word ostentatious.
Have I mentioned that I'm kind of weird? :P
@aviators OMG, I checked out my optometrist today and I found so many pretty aviators! *headdesk*
I like those words, especially the way they sound. :) I can't remember many of the words I like (maybe I should start making a list too), but I remembered two! 'Neckcloth' (I like the 'ckc' part of it) and 'betroth' (because it sounds a bit like 'be (my) trout').
Oooh, does this means I'll get to see another pretty piccie? :) To think I've never liked aviators before, and then you came along and conditioned my mind to see you/Bradley/crooked teeth whenever someone mentions 'aviators.' XD
Oooh, does this means I'll get to see another pretty piccie? :) I don't know yet. I still can't decide what to do. As I wear glasses regularly I think about shades with shortsight glasses. Otherwise I'd buy 'normal' sun glasses + contacts.
When I was in Australia 4 years ago I used to wear contacts (1 day lenses) + sun glasses and that was pretty cool.
And I still can't decide if I should buy aviators anyway. Damn iffiness! :P
I was out for a long, long walk in the wonderful sunshine and finally decided that I'll go with 'normal' sun glasses and contact lenses. So one decision is made. :P
I think the question "aviators yes or no" I will only be able to answer when I'll go back to my optometrist and try on several shades. If I'll find aviators I don't look like a complete dumbo with I might buy them. We'll see.

Now I'm curious to know what else is there on your list of favorite words. :D

I'll be cheering that you find the right shade, then. ;)
