This year we will have many contested races in both the Republican and Democratic primaries.
The Primary Election is Tue. May 6th.
To be able to vote you need to register to vote by 4 PM on Monday April 7th.
Voter registration applications are available at the following locations:
-Career Development Center (10th and Jordan)
-Student Legal Services (703 East 7th Street)
-Monroe County Board of Voter Registration Office in the Justice Building, (Corner of 7th and College Avenues) 301 North College Ave., Room 202.

You need to return the completed voter registration application in person or by mail to the Monroe County Board of Voter Registration Office.
YOU CAN VOTE EARLY!
Early Voting begins Monday April 7
You can vote at the Curry building - on 7th Street, one block west of the square. Reserved parking for voters will be available on 7th Street, in front of the building.
Hours: Monday - Friday: 8 am to 4 pm
Saturdays (April 26 and May 3): 8 am to 4 pm
Early Voting ends on Monday, May 5th: 8 am to noon
Election day is Tuesday May 6, 6 am to 6 pm
Reminder: You need to bring a photo ID to vote.

Many precincts in Monroe County have been merged, most have been re-numbered - just in time for the 2008 election. Updated precinct and polling information is available at the State of Indiana's voter registration web site:
