Having Power in Your Community: Women's Leadership Development
~ Co-sponsored by City of Bloomington Commission on the Status of Women, Office of the City Clerk and the IU Women's Student Association

The purpose of the event is to encourage and support women's efforts to become active in their community, particularly on local boards and commissions. Following the keynote Q & A, there are three breakout sessions designed to help participants develop new skills or refine others. Breakout sessions include Taking A Personal  Inventory, Philanthropy: Giving of Time or Money, and Community Activism: Women in the Arts.

A reception begins at 5pm. The event is free and open to the public. Call 349-3430 for further information.
