Morbid Poetry

Nov 16, 2000 12:51

This was written for Ruth Ann Gilberson. She died of liver failure after a bonemarrow transplant. Her lukemia just got out of hand. She was my best friend. I think I was in first grade or maybe second when she died.

Faded Gray

pass into the hands of the dark god
faded and gray
well worn from society
you didn't live another day

how I pleaded and begged with you
faded and gray
you left me on my own
you didn't live anther day

the dark god wouldn't listen to me
faded and gray
you went willingly to him
you didn't live another day

the pain will consume me forever
faded and gray
how could you
you didn't live another day

poem, high school, transfered from paper, friend
