Plotting -- calling all rebels
So Balthier, being a sky pirate, is not too terribly fond of authority even if they're being relatively nice to him. Yes, he has an airship, but there isn't much point if someone's telling him where to fly it, hm? But he's not stupid. He knows making any particular effort to break any more free than he already is will simply land him in confinement.
Sneakily being a double agent and helping the guys who are openly rebelling, though? That, he might be able to get away with.
The problem is he doesn't really know people. He didn't have much time to get acquainted with anyone before the attacks happened, and since... well, it would be a little hard for him to have gotten to know anyone useful for this. I noticed when everyone was locked up at first, he was in the cage with Xion, which could lead to useful connections? And/or there might be some way to invent a reason for him to run across someone who escaped the raid on the rebels? He has an airship... maybe he got sent out to scout for people and uh... conveniently won't end up finding whoever he talks to. :P
Anyone up for plotting/having any ideas for how to make this work, please post.
