o4. Lenalee Li ;; I still haven't mastered the art of cut-paste. gooziewoozie July 24 2009, 03:20:14 UTC
Despite all this, Linali is still a teenager with a teenager's concerns and capriciousness. Her sensitiveness is frequently mistaken for weakness, for her tears are easily summoned whether it is out of joy, sadness, or fear. Though she dislikes self-sacrifice, she could turn around and do something reckless herself. She learned to suffer on her own, but she hates being alone. Even now she wakes up in the middle of the night and runs to somebody's side, be it her brother or a fellow Exorcist. However, she would sooner swallow her pain than become a burden, and she absolutely hates being useless, which is why she is always active. (She'll often occupy the kitchen, cooking with Jerry and making chocolate cake--a favorite of hers. Food is an excellent remedy, isn't it?)

Notwithstanding, this sixteen-year old is of the maturest of the younger Exorcists and never fails to bring her comrades back on the ground. (Like they do for her, when she loses her composure.) If she must, she has no qualms with using force to settle disputes. She can be quite frightening when mad. She won't allow people to step on her, and she will slap a friend to his senses! She knows they can take a red cheek, right?

WEAPONS/ABILITIES/ETC: During the HQ ambush after Edo, Linali's Innocence evolved into an unprecedented state that falls neither in the Parasitic nor Equiment category of anti-Akuma weapons. Though it would appear to incline towards the former since it requires her blood to function, responds to her thoughts, and adheres itself to her body (cross-shaped stigmata at the base of her calves, just above her feet), canonical assessment traces no hint of Innocence within her body; yet, the Innocence is attached to her body in the form of crystal anklets -- thus, this new type was dubbed "Crystal." It is hypothesized that so long as she has blood, her boots would be able to repair themselves.

When unactivated, the Innocence loosely encircles both her ankles in a crystallized ring of her blood, like a simple accessory; but when activated, they shape into thigh-high armor-like boots. These boots--Dark Boots--allow her a variety of airborne abilities, such as flight, hovering, and rocketing through space at supersonic speeds. She is also able to walk on water, rip tornados from thin air, and kick quite hardly. She is quite the talented fighter, despite her deceptively thin frame. All of these skills are now mostly commanded by her instincts and emotions, as characteristic of Parasitic Innocence.

THIRD PERSON: A lot of things have changed, she thought quietly to herself, sitting by the window of her room. A lot of things have changed, but not all of them were good. Included in the good was the successful move between the old tower and the British castle, the new uniforms, clean rooms, but most of all the fact that all her friends were alive. Her world was safe that very moment, and her mind was at peace. But then she thought of the bad things: all the people that were lost during the ambush in Rome, the cross-shaped engravings above her feet and the bloody anklets encircling them that felt heavier than they appeared, the revelation of the Fourteenth and the duty to kill him--kill Allen--were he to threaten the Order...since then Central was squeezing the Order much more tightly. The stern faces of the Vatican staff straightened the division with their no-nonsense rigidity. It was a while since she'd seen her brother take a breather. It worried her. Then there was the news regarding Allen's Innocence; she saw the scar...
