o3. Lenalee Li ;; I bet you didn't miss this tl;dr. gooziewoozie July 24 2009, 03:18:42 UTC
After that, Linali was put on the team that was to search and retrieve General Marian Cross, who was las reported in China. They do not stay there long, since Cross had gone on a ship to Edo, though it was said that that ship had sunken into a sea of poison. Not allowing that to stop them, they follow him; however, before they could embark, a swarm of AKUMA attack the port city. Although the Exorcists win, there was great loss: Suman, another Exorcist who had turned into a Fallen (an Apostle whose synchro dropped to zero and yet forced invocation), had to be killed, and Allen went missing. Duty subjugating emotion, the team carried on to Japan. During the voyage, the Exorcists were yet again confronted by AKUMA; Linali resolved to defeat the Level 3 by herself, but winning meant she had to push her synchro rate beyond her maximum potential. With the force of a meteor, Linali destroyed the Level 3 and though she would have died, her Innocence saved her at the price of remaining disfunctional until the end of their mission. An altered AKUMA rescued her from the ocean depths, found Rabi, and took her to back to the ship. Nearing Edo, the entire crew, except for three men, did not make it, and so they sent the Exorcists off with a final farewell and their wish to win.

Arriving to the shores of Japan, the Exorcists brace themselves to walk into one of the nesting grounds of AKUMA. Knowing there was no human life in Edo, they continued forward to look for the disappeared General. It was here where a total reunion between the Noah and Exorcists come about. General Tiedoll's team fortify the group, and Allen reappears just in time to save Linali from the Earl, though she is later sucked into the Ark. In this dimension of endless doors and many rooms did the Exorcists contend with the Noah. Kanda was left to Skin Borick, Krory to the twins--it hurt her to move on without them, but they didn't have much time.

PERSONALITY: Despite all the psycho-emotional traumas she experienced throughout her childhood, Linali manifests one of the most gentle spirits within the entire Order. Treating everyone kindly, she is the epitome of gentleness and a beacon of hope. As the sister of the Chief Supervisor and one of the veteran Exorcists, having lived in the Order practically her whole life, she is revered and regarded with respect. (She has to be, if anyone wanted to stay away from Komui's strange...tools.) She is like the imperial butterfly of their ranks, going around helping anyway she can, when she can, plus making coffee for all the scientists because she likes to do it. This shows her love for simple acts, and if she could just do that for the rest of her days, she wouldn't mind.

But in reality, Linali was an Exorcist. She (literally) wears shoes that few others could fill. More than the physical world of countries and states, she fights for her friends. To her, they are the ones that constitute her world. She said herself that since losing her home when she was young, she never stayed in one place for too long. From battlefield to battlefield, the only thing that she constantly saw were the faces of her comrades and family. To preserve that, she accepted to carry the Rose Cross and move forward with the weight of the Innocence. Her deep sense of friendship pushes her beyond her capabilities and strengthens her to face her fears, as when she fought the Level 3 Eshi over the sea and before rejoining her Innocence. When she puts her mind to it, she demonstrates an outstanding and relentless determination.
