I have yet to run into Kanda, much less meet others. I did meet Lenalee…[ Slightly worried, for he hasn’t seen much of her for a while. ]

Myself…I’m not actually sure what I’ve been doing with my time. [ He frowns in thought ] These curses-I dislike feeling like myself, and I thought it wiser to wait until I could honestly say everything was normal. From being a corpse to floating to acting to someone else…it’s insane.

[Catches that look. Oh, he knows it] I saw her not long ago. She seems fine. And Yuu likes spending time at the greenhouse.

Can't say I care much for the effects, either. At least they seem to have stopped for now, yeah? [But the tattoo was still there. Foreboding]

That’s good to hear.

A greenhouse? Kanda and a greenhouse? [ Because that did not sound like Kanda. ] Are we talking about the same Kanda?

They’re much too unpredictable for my liking. It seems like they have. [ He traces his own tattoo, hidden behind the collar of his shirt. ] A temporary break, perhaps? It simply doesn’t seem fair to me. The people here have every right to be suspicious, but this is bordering on paranoia, in my opinion.

All right, same Kanda. I just…um, can’t see him gardening. [ See, Allen only ever seen Kanda slashing up Akuma and generally being genial in his own way. The image of Kanda and plants doesn’t fit in his mind. ]

Your guess is as good as mine. To make our lives miserable because we are outsiders? Remind us we do not belong? Or to test our patience? [ He gives a one shoulder shrug and exhales. ] Not to mention the fighting going around this place…

I'm starting to just call it general weirdness, but I haven't been able to speak with a lot of the locals yet. I'm not sure how normal this was before people started coming in.

I haven't even met any locals. Or...maybe I have but I didn't realize they were.

Oh yes, I spoke briefly to an Avatican commander.

Perhaps there isn't a "normal" for this place that we are used to.

Um...[ Thinks for a while. ] I asked about the war, and the reason for it. His answer was that it was human nature to quarrel. [ Not exactly quoting, for his memory isn't as good as that. ] I...tried pushing for information on the markings we have, but I didn't receive an answer. It was a very short meeting.

[ He suddenly remembers something. ] I think Kanda had much more to do with a Solinth general...or something of that nature. [ And here he looks around before speaking. ] He seems to be withholding information about a Noah. [ Yes, Allen is grumpy about that. ]
